Key Responsibilities

Lead the platform engineering interface with the customer

2

Define initial product selection for the customer program

3

Approve final product sizing recommendation

4

Lead technical review with customer during quoting process

5

Define engineering project plan and record progress in program management tool

6

Obtain customer approval of DFMEA

7

Approve customer drawings

8

Obtain customer design freeze after completion of Design Validation testing

9

Review Production verification test results with customer

10

Lead technical review for any post launch changes required on customer program with customer approval as required

11

Adhere to GKN Product Safety Policy and Product Safety Procedure

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Engineering Degree or Equivalent. Know How about manufacturing and application engineering of Automotive Driveline components. Engineering 10+ years of experience.

Essential Competencies

FMEA Program Management Problem Solving Product Design Knowledge is must. Product Safety (Design Specific) Understand CAPM Process and Customer Milestone Delivery Manufacturing Process Knowledge. Presentation Skills Communication Skills (ability to effectively communicate remotely)
