Act as the first line of defines for production issues, ensuring rapid identification, triage, and resolution or escalation of incidents.
Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot performance and availability issues on public-facing websites.
Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to drive root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Use observability/SRE tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Grafana) to monitor application health and detect anomalies. Datadog experience is preferred.
Leverage
Cloudflare
for DNS, caching, security (WAF, rate limiting), and performance optimization.
Analyse frontend issues using
JavaScript
debugging techniques and browser developer tools.
Work with application logs, API responses, and browser behaviour to resolve user-impacting issues.
Strong in SQL to query databases and analyse data to troubleshoot backend problems.
Support .NET-based applications, identifying code-level or configuration issues.
Maintain clear documentation of incidents, resolution paths, and system behaviours.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide regular updates during incident management.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a Production/Application Support Analyst role with a focus on public-facing websites.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
Hands-on experience with
JavaScript
debugging and browser-based diagnostics.
Experience with
Cloudflare
for web security, caching, and performance.
Familiarity with SRE/observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana).
Proficiency in SQL and experience troubleshooting database-related issues.
Working knowledge of
.NET
applications and deployment environments.
Solid understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps environments.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
