WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are looking for a
Platform / DevOps Engineer
to own the
end-to-end infrastructure, deployment, and operational reliability
of our
SaaS and hybrid (cloud + customer-managed) platform
used in regulated life sciences manufacturing and laboratory environments.
This role combines
cloud engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, virtualization, and system operations
, with a strong emphasis on
automation, security, and validation readiness
.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Platform & Infrastructure Engineering
Design, deploy, and operate
Azure-based SaaS infrastructure
Build and manage
hybrid and on-prem deployments
(private cloud, edge, customer data centers)
Operate Kubernetes clusters on
cloud and virtualized environments
Manage virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V / KVM as applicable)
Ensure infrastructure scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery
CI/CD & Release Engineering
Build and maintain
validated CI/CD pipelines
Implement
environment-based release promotion
(dev ? test ? validation ? prod)
Support versioned, traceable, and auditable deployments
Enable safe rollback, patching, and upgrade strategies across SaaS and on-prem installs
Systems & Virtualization Operations
Own OS hardening, patching, and lifecycle management
Manage storage, networking, DNS, TLS, and firewall configurations
Implement backup, restore, and DR procedures
Support air-gapped or restricted customer environments (as needed)
Security & Compliance
Implement
IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and encryption
Secure software supply chain (image scanning, artifact signing)
Enable audit logging and monitoring for regulated systems
Support
SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GxP audit readiness
Monitoring & Reliability
Implement observability (logs, metrics, alerts)
Define SLIs/SLOs and operational dashboards
Lead incident response and root-cause analysis
Maintain runbooks and operational documentation
Collaboration & Enablement
Partner with Engineering to improve developer productivity
Support QA and validation teams with compliant environments
Assist customer deployments, upgrades, and operational handovers
Document standard operating procedures and deployment guides
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Experience
Minimum of 7 years of DevOps, Platform, or Systems Engineering
Hands-on experience supporting production SaaS and on-prem environments.
Education
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Equivalent hands-on experience acceptable
GxP-regulated systems (Life Sciences, Pharma, MedTech)
Validated infrastructure and controlled change management
Experience supporting customer audits
Soft Skills
Strong ownership and operational mindset
Ability to handle production issues calmly and methodically
Clear documentation and communication skills
Comfortable working across time zones and customer environments
Compensation (India - Indicative)
?30 LPA - ?50 LPA
