- Platform Development Lead (QNX / Linux BSP)

Job Title: Platform Development Lead - BSP & Device Drivers

Department: Embedded Systems / Platform Software

Location: Bangalore (Onsite/Hybrid)

Experience: 10-16 years

?? Role Summary

We are looking for a Platform Development Lead to drive QNX/Linux-based platform bring-

up, BSP integration, and driver development for next-generation embedded products. The

role demands strong technical depth in SoC bring-up, device drivers, bootloaders, and BSP

optimization, along with leadership in planning and mentoring engineering teams.

?? Key Responsibilities

? Lead and own SoC bring-up, BSP customization, and device driver development for

embedded Linux/QNX platforms.

? Design and integrate low-level drivers for UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, PCIe, USB, and Ethernet.

? Collaborate with hardware, multimedia, and system integration teams for end-to-end

board enablement.

? Analyze and resolve kernel-level issues (boot, interrupt, memory, power, performance).

? Define platform-level test plans and performance validation strategy.

? Lead the transition from prototype to production, ensuring stability and compliance.

? Drive code reviews, documentation, and version control best practices.

? Interface with silicon vendors and third-party partners for platform customization.

?? Technical Skills Required

? Strong in Linux kernel, device drivers, and BSP architecture.

? Expertise in QNX resource managers, Momentics IDE, and system debugging.

? Experience with Yocto / Buildroot / Android build systems.

? Hands-on with bootloader development (U-Boot, IPL, SPL) and secure boot

configuration.

? Proficient in C, embedded C, shell scripting, and debugging tools (gdb, ftrace, perf).

? Knowledge of Power management, IPC, and interrupt handling.

? Exposure to virtualization or hypervisors (QNX Hypervisor / Xen) is a plus.

? Capable of leading cross-functional platform teams and driving architecture discussions.

? Strong debugging mindset with ability to isolate system-level issues.

? Excellent communication, planning, and documentation skills.

? Customer-focused with commitment to delivery and quality.

?? Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline.

10-16 years of experience in Embedded Software / Platform or BSP Development.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
