As we endeavor, we are seeking a dynamic talent for the role of Platform & Architecture Manager As the Platform & Architecture Manager you will be working with a team of Cloud Engineers, Database Administrators and Developers, Data and Solution Architects and Dev/ML Ops Engineers. Managing and working with these teams, the P&T Manager will be responsible for identifying, implementing, and managing the appropriate platforms, tools, technologies, and applications required to support the data supply chain and enable data product and analytics solution development within the organization. You will also be responsible for a broad range of activities across data and solution architecture, ML/Dev Ops, and technology infrastructure across the organization Primary Responsibilities:

• Managing teams of Cloud Engineers responsible for designing, architecting, and developing solutions leveraging cloud big data technology to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets to meet business requirements
• Lead and influence the development of best practices for deploying, monitoring, and scaling core infrastructure and services, to advance the organization\xe2\x80\x99s technological capabilities and capacity
• Oversee, lead, and support database administrators in managing data assets, while facilitating seamless coordination and cooperation with IT and other organization teams
• Support and champion proposals and implementations of enhancements that will improve performance and reliability of systems and databases, while partnering with IT and project managers
• Support XOps team (ML/Dev/Data) activities and development tasks regarding development, maintenance and improvement of data pipelines, increased pipeline and data product automation, solution scaling efforts and large-scale ML/AI initiatives across the organization
• Engage with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure P&A operational excellence while adhering to organization strategy and focusing on initiatives prioritized by the organization
• Supervising a team of data architects and modelers in designing, building, and maintaining the overarching architecture and data models for the organization, including enabling architectural improvement initiatives and influence data modelling principles, processes, and standards
• Work with solution architects to ensure a modern, effective, resilient, and functional data ecosystem and architecture within the organization as well as ensuring the appropriate technology and capability coverage to support business and organizational requirements
• Lead and champion proposals and strategy around enterprise data architecture to meet market and company standards
• Manage demand intake/business need and plan architecture to meet market demand

Education:

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering or related field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, etc.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in managing data platforms and systems in roles such as Data/Solution Architect or Cloud Engineer
• Knowledge of Data Architecture discipline and capabilities and Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of the principals and methodologies of Agile Dev/ML Ops
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders
• Leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to set direction and lead/motivate teams

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Relevant work experience managing complex, high-capacity data systems and infrastructure
• Demonstrated hands on experience with ML/Dev Ops and application and data product development
• Understanding of Global Commercial and Marketing Analytics domains and data landscape
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Agile Certifications
