Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Plastic Technologist

with a strong foundation in

plastic recycling and granulation

. The selected candidate will lead the

end-to-end evaluation of customer requirements

, ensure

granule quality through in-house testing

, and drive

process improvements in reprocessing

-- all while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with

end-users

to understand detailed specifications related to plastic properties. Conduct

suitability testing

of recycled granules before offering them for application use. Drive

granulation process optimization

, including

shredding, extrusion, filtration, and pelletizing

. Ensure granule consistency in terms of

MFI, color, tensile strength, and contamination control

. Monitor and ensure compliance with

recycled plastic content regulations

and other sustainability mandates. Maintain thorough documentation of

process parameters, compliance records, and test outcomes

. Coordinate with production, QA, and R&D to align reprocessed material performance with final product requirements.

Education:

B.Tech / B.E. in Plastics Engineering / Polymer Engineering / Chemical Engineering

(Preferred institutes:

CIPET

ICT Mumbai

,

MIT Pune

,

Anna University

, etc.) A

Master's in Polymer Science / Material Science

is an added advantage.

Experience Required:

5+ years

of hands-on experience in: Plastic

recycling plants

Companies using recycled plastic in

packaging or product manufacturing

Proven expertise in

granulation processes

and

polymer testing techniques

Strong understanding of

regulatory norms

related to recycled plastics
