Pidilite Industries Limited is looking for a qualified and experienced

Plastic Technologist

to join our Reprocessing Granules Manufacturing team in Mahuva, Gujarat. The role involves leading technical evaluations, testing recycled plastic granules, optimizing reprocessing operations, and ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with customers and end-users to understand plastic material specifications Perform in-house testing to assess the suitability of recycled granules for applications Optimize processes including shredding, extrusion, filtration, and pelletizing Maintain granule quality with respect to MFI, tensile strength, color, and contamination Monitor compliance with regulations related to recycled plastic content Maintain documentation for process parameters, test results, and regulatory compliance Coordinate with internal teams (Production, QA, R&D) for performance alignment

Education Qualifications:

B.E. / B.Tech in Plastics, Polymer, or Chemical Engineering (Preferred Institutes: CIPET, ICT Mumbai, MIT Pune, Anna University, etc.) A Master's degree in Polymer Science / Materials Science is an added advantage

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in:

Plastic recycling plants Companies using recycled plastic in packaging or products Hands-on work with granulation processes and polymer testing Strong understanding of recycled plastic regulatory standards

Pay: ?1,500,000.00 - ?2,500,000.00 per year
