Job Description

Technical guidance to vendors along with project managment and schedule monitoring. > Ensuring timely execution of development activities. > Planning for Zero defect production lines setup at Vendors. > Conducting PFMEA and timely implementation of required actions based on the same. > Advance Quality Planning for new parts development. > Analysis of part quality issues & countermeasure planning ( FTA , 5 Why analysis , 8D method etc. ). > Identification of Technical and Systemic issues at vendor end & Prepare action plan for the same



Should have working experience in Automobile Industry (4 / 2 wheeler / LCV ). > Expertise in Checking fixture & Welding fixture design , Concept generation & Validation . > Root cause analysis for defects reported in line and counter measure implementation. > Practical application of Quality Control Tools, including theoretical background of SPC, Analytical tools and Six sigma. > Thorough knowledge & working experience on PFMEA,APQP,PPAP activities. > Working Knowledge of Tools / Dies & Various inspection aids (gauges /Jigs / Fixtures / Test Rigs, Etc.). > Good Planning and execution skills for handling multiple tasks at time. > Computer Proficiency is essential for proper documentation and data study & Presentation Skills. > Openness, Positive attitude to work in team & Good Communication Skills. > Ability to understand drawing spec & part fitment requirements. > Should have good knowledge of automobile international testing standards ( IS,BIS,JIS,JASO,ASTM,SES etc. )



Good understanding of Plastic Raw Material Spec & Usage areas. > Knowledge of Plastic parts manufacturing processes (Injection molding , Blow molding , forming etc. ) > Process knoweldge & evaluation of parts related with plastic parts Painting , Plating , other Surface Treatment methods. > Plastic parts assy. process knowhow ( Welding , Heat stacking etc ). > Detailed knowledge regarding Moulds/Dies/Other tooling's requirements for plastic parts manufacturing. > Working experience on Mold flow analysis,Die simulation & other relevant simulation tools. > Good experience in CAD ( UG / CATIA , Autocad etc. ). Should be able to analyse part & assy sections/fitment condition. > Should be able to use basic inspection tools effectively ( VC/HG/Scale/MM/Gauges etc.)
