Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Plastic Injection Moulding Technician

to operate, monitor, and maintain plastic injection moulding machines. The technician will ensure that all products meet quality standards and production targets are achieved with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate plastic injection moulding machines. Install molds and tooling as per production schedule. Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters as necessary. Inspect finished parts for defects using visual and measurement tools. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work area. Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with repairs. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow safety, quality, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve production issues.

Requirements:

High school diploma or technical training in manufacturing or plastics (preferred). Proven experience in plastic injection moulding operations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Good communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends as required.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Experience with specific moulding machines (e.g., Arburg, Engel, Toshiba). Knowledge of mold design and preventive maintenance. Forklift certification. Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
