Plastic Injection Mould Designer

Qualification: Diploma/ B.Tech (Mold Design)

Desirable: - The candidate should have good working knowledge of Powershape, Inventor, AutoCAD Engineering Software.

- Independent plastic mold design knowledge.

- Tool Manufacturing Knowledge

- Experience: 3 years

Responsibilities and Duties

- Understand customer requirements

- Provide concept design

- Provide quotation Release

- First Time Right design- 2D and 3D

- Provide overall project development plan

- Release complete BOM and BOP

- Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery

- Provide input for process planning, machine cutting strategies etc. - Design standardisation

Qualifications and Skills

Technical design decision making, design lead time & accuracy in mold design will be the key result areas.

Should have a thorough technical knowledge & experience of mold manufacturing processes required for precision components.
