Job Description

Machine Operation:

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC plasma cutting machines, including loading programs and adjusting settings (torch height, speed, gas flow).

Material Handling:

Load raw metal sheets onto the machine table, clamp them, and unload finished parts, sometimes using cranes.

Quality Control:

Read blueprints, interpret job specifications, inspect cut parts with measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to ensure accuracy, and minimize waste.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform daily checks, clean the machine, conduct basic preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.

Safety & Environment:

Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and identify process improvements.
Key Skills & Knowledge

Understanding of plasma cutting technology and consumables. Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and cutting lists. Familiarity with CNC programming and relevant software (like CypCut). Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork.
