We're Hiring: Plant/Factory Manager - Food Manufacturing Unit

Location: Near Khed Shivapur toll plaza, Shivare, Pune, Maharashtra

Full-Time | On-Site | Immediate Joiners Preferred

We are looking for a Plant Manager who can lead our manufacturing and packaging operations with excellence in productivity, quality, safety, compliance, and technology integration

Roles & Responsibilities -

1. Oversee daily plant operations: production planning, process execution, and output optimization.

2. Lead packaging, cleaning, quality control, and dispatch activities across all shifts.

3. Ensure adherence to product standards, food safety norms, hygiene, and process discipline.
4. Implement lean manufacturing, process improvements, and preventive maintenance.

5. Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), line efficiencies, and plant KPIs.

6. Ensure statutory compliance under FSSAI, FDA, BRC, Labour Laws, Factory Act, and Environment norms.

7. Lead and manage plant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Foster a positive working environment, resolve conflicts, and manage relations with unions if applicable

8. Prepare and manage the plant's budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation. Monitor and report on production costs, efficiency, and financial performance.

9. Oversee the inventory of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring adequate supplies for production. Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality raw materials. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient distribution of finished products.

10. Develop and implement long-term strategies for plant growth, expansion, and innovation. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methods to enhance production..

11. Effectively handling projects that are assigned and managing them with all due responsibilities.

12. Managing production resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower. This involves maintaining inventory levels, optimizing resource utilization, and coordinating with procurement and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.

13. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the plant area. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and promoting a culture of safety among production personnel.

14. Utilize AI tools or digital platforms for planning, reporting, scheduling, and analytics.

15. Ensuring consistency in production, production planning & forecasting.

16. You will be reporting to Director & Managing Director.

17. And all the office responsibilities occur time to time.

Who You Are

- B.Tech(Relevant field or Food Tech) or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Agri/Food)
- 3-5 years of experience in managing food/FMCG/agri/organic processing units
- Hands-on experience in plant management, team supervision, factory compliance
- Familiar with ERP systems, production dashboards, and shift planning tools Tech- savvy and open to AI-based planning and reporting systems
- Strong in documentation, quality systems, FSSAI, BRC, GMP, and EHS standards
- Based in or willing to relocate to Pune (factory location near Khed Shivapur, Pune)
