RESPONSIBILITIES - What WH I/C must deliver
1. CON/QC Area Management (Receiving from Production)
Ensure timely receipt of all units from production conveyors.
Verify scanning, model-SKU mapping, label quality & compliance.
Ensure QC Hold / QC Pass zoning without mixing.
Drive FIFO discipline from CON ? FG.
2. FG Area Management (Inventory & Staging)
Maintain
100% inventory accuracy
through scanning & cycle counts.
Ensure proper binning, segregation & staging as per dispatch plan.
Prevent aging stock, blocked stock & mismatch cases.
Daily reconciliation with documentation & QC teams.
, vehicle turnaround and dock readiness.
Ensure proper stacking, strapping, and zero damage loading.
Drive OTIF (On-Time In Full) deliveries to Mother WH.
Coordinate with Mother WH for unloading delays & escalate early.
4. Dock Management
Plan and allocate docks for inbound, staging, loading.
Maintain
per shift.
Maintain MHE preventive maintenance & breakdown logs.
Optimize clamp allocation to avoid delays in staging/loading.
Ensure safe MHE operations as per SOP & VB guidelines.
6. People Leadership & Shift Management
Plan manpower across CON, FG, dispatch, dock & office.
Review absenteeism, skill deployment & bench strength.
Conduct daily Gemba with shift I/Cs & lead morning huddles.
Drive discipline, 5S, training & development.
Enable cross-functional alignment with HRBP & BE Consultant.
7. Customer Management & Governance
Be the single point of contact for VB Plant Production, QC & Logistics teams.
Share daily dashboards: Inflow, FG, dispatch, trip count, damage, exceptions.
Lead daily review & weekly governance meetings.
Drive structured problem solving (RCA/5 Why/A3).
AUTHORITY - What the WH I/C can decide

Manpower
Approve shift deployment, movement between areas & OT.
Request additional manpower or stop work when unsafe.

Operations
Stop any unsafe, non-compliant or unscanned loading.
Hold vehicles until documentation is corrected.
Control dock allocation and trip priority.

Inventory & Quality
Approve/block materials based on QC status.
Approve cycle count corrections after validation.

Customer Interface
Escalate throughput-impacting issues to Management.
Close-loop action plans for recurring problems.
