: Plant Technician

Overview

Devic Earth

(https://www.devic-earth.com), a VC-funded green tech startup revolutionizing the approach to air pollution, is seeking a Plant Technician at its head office in Bangalore. The role involves assembly, maintenance of products and infrastructure, and ensuring smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day plant operations related to product assembly in a cost-effective manner.

- Assembly and quality assurance/quality control of equipment and air quality monitors.

- Maintain and ensure the plant is safe, secure, and well-kept at all times.

- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, raise procurement requests, and manage inventory.

- Ensure adequate component supply by raising timely procurement requests.

- Participate in equipment installation while following safety protocols.

- Perform quality controls and meet production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Assist in packing and logistics activities.

- Provide prompt and quality customer service.

- Maintain air conditioning, electrical systems, UPS, and other plant/office infrastructure.

- Ensure overall safety of the plant and office infrastructure.

- Uphold the company's core values in all activities.

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an electronics technician involved in assembly or manufacturing of electrical/electronic products.

- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Essential Skills

- Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits and assembly processes.

- Ability to design and envision assembly of electrical components.

- Ability to identify alternative solutions and source required components.

- Ability to procure quality products at the right price.

- Experience in operating and maintaining fire safety equipment.

- Experience in conducting quality checks on raw materials and products.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Upholds high ethical standards.

- Salary commensurate with experience.
