Job Description

The Plant Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting plant machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe production operations. This role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and reporting equipment performance issues to the maintenance or production supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate plant machinery and equipment as per standard operating procedures. Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth plant operations. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical or technical issues quickly and safely. Monitor production parameters and ensure output meets quality standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and production activities. Support installation and commissioning of new machines or equipment. Ensure workplace safety by following safety protocols and using PPE. Report abnormal conditions or breakdowns to the supervisor immediately. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards.
