Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled

Plant Supervisor

with 1-2 years of experience in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, developing and implementing plant processes for new products, maintaining all necessary records as per SOPs, and ensuring smooth and safe functioning of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all day-to-day plant operations. Handle key chemical plant processes including

reaction, distillation, and boiler operations

. Support the development and implementation of processes for

new chemical products

. Maintain accurate

logbook and documentation

as per SOP. Ensure safety, compliance, and operational standards are met at all times. Manage raw material handling and ensure proper inventory usage. Coordinate with internal teams like dispatch, accounts, exports, and management. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and consultants (like GST consultant) when required.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of

organic chemistry

and

chlorination processes

. Hands-on experience in

reaction and distillation operations

. Understanding of

boiler systems

and general plant equipment.
Basic Skills:

Able to

read, write, and understand English

(spoken fluency not mandatory). Proficient in using

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email

. Familiar with

internet browsing

for plant-related searches. Must own and be able to use an

Android smartphone

.
