Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing plant. The Plant Supervisor's responsibilities include ensuring smooth production processes, improving operational efficiency, and driving workplace safety. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment and possesses excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, quality standards, and production schedules. Conduct employee performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement disciplinary actions as needed. Assess equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance or repair activities as necessary. Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed. Implement cost-saving strategies and techniques. Develop and implement policies and procedures. Ensure all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met. Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a plant supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines. Familiarity with health and safety regulations. Understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coach and mentor employees. High school diploma or equivalent
