Job Overview

We are seeking a Plant Safety Supervisor to join our team at DCS Group. As the Plant Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees at our plant located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a plant or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety protocols
• Proficient in conducting safety inspections and risk assessments
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Train employees on proper safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives
• Coordinate emergency response activities and drills
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Manage safety-related documentation and records
