Role
As the Plant Purchasing Manager you will be part of the Procurement and will report to the DH- Supply Chain Operations.
The purpose of your role will be leading SCM interface to meet on time-delivery as per production plan sequence, implementing e-Material flow, maintaining product quality & procurement as per allocated share of business with adherence of established policies & procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Market Demand Fulfilment
- Compliance /adherence to Schedule released as per SOB & Production plan
- Achieving Monthly Domestic Vehicle Production wrt CP plan.
- Flawless Launch of new models of Global Business as well as Domestic.
Quality Upgradation/Management
- Traceability of identified CTQ parts at SCP's.
- Focus on continuous upgradation of supplier quality performance
-Adherence to Monthly 4M restoration activities at SCP's with SQA
- Facilitation to Shining Projects for process improvement, quality & Cost initiatives
- Deployment of TPM -SCM pillar activities as per plan
People Development
- Competency development of the team for the carrier progression & succession planning of the team by multiskilling, training
A Day in the life
Managing supply Chain in Geo-political dynamics
Being Agile & managing the variations in production plan wrt ABP
Process improvement & Cost efficiency
-Adherence to Inventory Norms & achievement of monthly ITR Targets
-Driving Digitization Projects implementation
- Compliance to internal/external process audit
- Achieving e-material Flow Parameters (Schedule adherence & Window time adherence) as per defined targets
-Cost Loss avoidance thru Obsolescence control. (during New Model changeover)
