Position Overview

The Plant Head will be the strategic and operational leader for Metallurgical's

division manufacturing aluminium master alloys, super alloys, and a diverse range of ferro alloys. This role carries full Profit & Loss responsibility for the division, ensuring operational excellence, cost leadership, and sustainable performance. The incumbent will drive production efficiency, product quality, and cost control while aligning operations with global manufacturing benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Strategic & P&L Management

? Prepare and execute the division's annual operating plan in alignment with company goals.

? Achieve targeted profitability through efficient cost management and resource

utilisation.

? Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions to ensure budget compliance.

? Identify and implement operational improvements for productivity, cost, and quality gains.

Operations Leadership

? Oversee production of aluminium master alloys, super alloys, and ferro alloys with

consistent adherence to specifications.

? Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma practices to enhance productivity.

? Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines.

? Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance for uninterrupted plant operations.

Quality & Compliance

? Ensure adherence to ISO standards, metallurgical quality norms, and customer

specifications.

? Establish and monitor robust in-process and final inspection systems.

? Drive continuous improvement in metallurgical processes to match or exceed global standards.

? Quality Rejection Rate (%).

? On-Time Delivery Performance.

? Manufacturing Cost per Unit Reduction.
