Job Title: STP Plant Maintenance Technician

Location: Maddur, Karnataka

Reports To: Plant Manager / Facility Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable STP Maintenance Technician to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant in Maddur. The technician will ensure optimal functioning of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on pumps, blowers, motors, filters, and other STP equipment. Monitor plant operations, control panels, and SCADA systems (if available). Ensure proper dosing of chemicals and monitor process parameters like pH, DO, BOD, and TSS. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and coordinate timely repairs. Maintain daily log sheets, operation records, and service reports. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Liaise with external vendors or contractors for specialized maintenance work. Support audits and inspections from regulatory authorities.
Qualifications & Skills:

10th or 12th Pass Minimum 2-4 years of experience in STP operation and maintenance. Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems in wastewater treatment. Basic knowledge of water quality parameters and testing. Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
