Plant Operator -- Hydrogen PSA Plant

Position:

Plant Operator (Hydrogen PSA Plant) -- Contract (2 years)

Location:

Hoskote Karnataka

Reporting to:

Plant Supervisor / Plant Manager

Salary:

Rs.23,000 (CTC) To Rs.28,000(CTC).

Experience:

2 to 4 years (preferred in Oil & Gas)

Key Responsibilities

? Operate, monitor and control the PSA hydrogen plant equipment and processes as per standard operating procedures (SOP).

? Start-up, shutdown, and safe operation of hydrogen generation / purification / compression systems.

? Monitor process parameters (temperatures, pressures, flow-rates, gas purity, alarms, safety systems) and record operations logs.

? Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and inspections of plant equipment, valves, instruments -- coordinate with maintenance crew.

? Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards -- enforce PPE and safety protocols.

? Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance/engineering for repairs and preventive maintenance.

? Assist in shift handover, maintain accurate logs, and communicate any deviations /unusual events.

? Follow all company policies, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures, emergency response protocols.

Qualifications / Experience::

? Minimum: Diploma/Graduation in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical) or equivalent.

? Familiarity with industrial safety norms, basic instrumentation & mechanical understanding.

Contract Terms

? Tenure: 2-year fixed-term contract (renewal/extension depending on performance/requirement).

? Working hours/shifts: As per plant staffing -- may include rotating shifts, standby, weekend or overtime per plant demand.

? Reporting & responsibilities as per the Plant Supervisor / Engineer in charge.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,386.29 - ₹28,357.10 per month
