Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator with a minimum of 10 years in the installation, operation, and maintenance of Soya Badi (Soya Nuggets) processing plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, a deep understanding of plant operations, and a commitment to ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning:

Lead and supervise the installation and commissioning of new Soya Badi plant equipment, ensuring all systems are integrated and operational.

Operation Management:

Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient processing of soybeans into Soya Badi, including extrusion, drying, and packaging stages.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery such as extruders, dryers, and conveyors. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Quality Control:

Monitor and adjust operational parameters to maintain product quality standards. Collaborate with the quality control team to address any deviations.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all operations adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations. Conduct safety audits and training sessions for plant staff.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and production metrics. Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports to senior management.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor junior operators and maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of Soya Badi processing plants or similar agro-processing facilities.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating and maintaining plant machinery, including extruders, dryers, and conveyors. Strong understanding of electrical systems and PLC-based control systems.

Knowledge:

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
