Job Description

To operate, monitor, and maintain the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) batching plant for producing concrete as per required quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and oversee the batching plant for daily RMC production. Ensure accurate batching of concrete as per mix design. Check availability and quality of raw materials (cement, aggregates, sand, water, admixtures). Conduct routine checks on plant equipment and coordinate with maintenance for repairs. Maintain proper records of production, raw material consumption, and daily reports. Ensure calibration of plant, weigh scales, and related equipment. Coordinate with QA/QC team for testing and quality control. Follow safety protocols and ensure housekeeping of the plant premises. Support logistics team for timely dispatch of transit mixers. Report any operational issues to Plant Incharge / Management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of batching plant operations and RMC production process. Ability to understand and follow mix design and technical instructions. Basic knowledge of concrete quality parameters. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to handle plant machinery and troubleshoot minor issues.

Qualification & Experience:

ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Civil or Mechanical (preferred). 2-5 years of experience in RMC plant operations. Knowledge of computerized batching systems will be an advantage.
