: Sr. Operator - Production - API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient)

Experience

: 5 to 10 years

Qualification

: SSC/BA/HSC/B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry

Operation of Reactor & Support Utilities

Safely operate the reactor and associated support utilities to ensure efficient and accurate production processes.

Batch Charging & Handling

Charge raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) into the reactor and other process vessels as per the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR). Manage batch operations and ensure that all specifications are met during production.

Housekeeping

Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper housekeeping in the manufacturing area, in compliance with safety, quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.

Record Keeping

Regularly monitor, record, and log critical plant readings, including temperature, pressure, flow rates, and other relevant process parameters, ensuring compliance with operational specifications.

Equipment Operation & Cleaning

Operate, maintain, and clean production equipment to prevent contamination and ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.

Bulk Drug Manufacturing

Manufactured bulk drugs in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to manufacturing standards.

Raw Material Weight Check

Verify and document the weight of raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) as per the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) before their use in production.

In-Process Checks

Perform in-process checks for critical parameters such as temperature, relative humidity (RH), and ensure the accurate addition of critical ingredients during production to maintain product integrity and quality.
