Job Purpose:

To operate and monitor chemical plant equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth production processes, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate reactors, distillation columns, centrifuges, filters, and other process equipment as per SOPs. Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and pH, and record readings accurately in log sheets or systems. Charge raw materials and maintain process conditions as per batch manufacturing records (BMR). Follow instructions from shift in-charge and ensure timely completion of batches. Handle chemical transfers, filtration, and drying operations as required. Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping (5S) in the work area. Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations immediately. Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies, including PPE usage and safe handling of hazardous materials. Support preventive maintenance activities and assist maintenance personnel during breakdowns. Maintain coordination with QC and other departments for smooth production flow.

Educational Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in AOCP (Attendant Operator - Chemical Plant)

Candidates with NCVT / SCVT certification preferred.

Experience:

0 to 3 years

for trainee/junior roles.

3 to 7 years

for experienced operator roles in chemical, specialty chemical, or API manufacturing plants.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of chemical processes and equipment operation. Awareness of safety standards (HAZOP, PPE, MSDS). Ability to read and follow process flow diagrams and SOPs. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically fit and able to work in shift operations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
