Job Description

We are seeking a

Plant Operator

to support smooth and safe operations of production equipment in our food-grade chemical manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for

fresh diploma/degree holders

looking to begin their career in plant operations and process control within the food ingredients industry.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor

plant equipment

such as pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, reactors, mixers, conveyors, and dosing systems according to process guidelines Execute

start-up, shutdown, and routine operational tasks

as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Monitor critical process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, level) and accurately

record logs and production records

Handle raw materials and additives safely as per production requirements Participate in

quality control processes

and report parameter deviations Perform

routine equipment inspections

and report abnormalities for preventive maintenance Support

maintenance and troubleshooting

activities when required Maintain proper

housekeeping and 5S standards

in production areas Follow all

Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE)

norms and wear appropriate PPE Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Shift Supervisor to maintain consistent output

Eligibility & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in: Plant Operations Mechanical Engineering

0-1 year experience

in manufacturing or process operations (freshers encouraged to apply) Knowledge of industrial plant equipment and basic process systems Understanding of safety protocols and ability to work in

shift patterns

Good communication and teamwork skills

Skills & Competencies

Ability to interpret basic technical instructions and SOPs Familiarity with

process monitoring

and recording instruments Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting plant equipment Good sense of

safety awareness

and compliance Willingness to learn and adapt to production demands
