Position

: Plant Operator (Hydrogen PSA Plant) -- Contract (2 years)

Location

: Hosakote Karnataka

Reporting to: Plant Supervisor / Plant Manager

Salary: Rs.23,000 To Rs.28,000.

Experience: 2 to 4 years(preferred in Oil & Gas)

Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor and control the PSA hydrogen plant equipment and processes as per standard operating procedures (SOP).

Start-up, shutdown, and safe operation of hydrogen generation / purification / compression systems.

Monitor process parameters (temperatures, pressures, flow-rates, gas purity, alarms, safety systems) and record operations logs.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and inspections of plant equipment, valves, instruments -- coordinate with maintenance crew.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards -- enforce PPE and safety protocols.

Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance/engineering for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Assist in shift handover, maintain accurate logs, communicate any deviations/unusual events.

Follow all company policies, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures, emergency response protocols.

Qualifications / Experience

Minimum: ITI / Diploma (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical) or equivalent.

Familiarity with industrial safety norms, basic instrumentation & mechanical understanding.

Contract Terms

Tenure: 2-year fixed-term contract (renewal/extension depending on performance/requirement).

Working hours/shifts: As per plant staffing -- may include rotating shifts, standby, weekend or overtime per plant demand.

Reporting & responsibilities as per the Plant Supervisor / Engineer in charge.
