Operate nitration reactors and related equipment as per SOPs.
Charge raw materials, solvents, and acids safely into the reactor.
Monitor process parameters: temperature, pressure, flow rate, etc.
Perform batch operations, sampling, and maintain logbook entries.
Handle hazardous chemicals like nitric acid & sulfuric acid safely.
Coordinate with DCS Operator / Shift In-charge during operations.
Ensure proper cooling, agitation, and reaction control.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE usage, and maintain housekeeping.
Report any abnormalities or equipment issues immediately.
Support maintenance activities during breakdowns and shutdowns.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
Experience in
Nitration process
is mandatory.
Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling.
Ability to operate pumps, valves, reactors, scrubbers, etc.
Understanding of DCS/SCADA system (added advantage).
Ability to follow SOPs and batch records.
