Job Description

Operate and monitor all machines and units of the sewage treatment plant. Check pumps, blowers, valves, motors, and ensure they work properly. Take regular readings of flow, pressure, and plant performance. Maintain water quality by checking pH, DO, and other basic parameters. Clean screens, filters, tanks, and keep the plant area neat. Do basic maintenance work like tightening, cleaning, and lubrication. Report any breakdown, leakage, or abnormal noise to the supervisor. Maintain daily logbook of plant operation and chemical usage. Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for smooth operation. Handle sludge removal, drying beds, and related activities. Check chemical dosing pumps and fill required chemicals safely. Follow all safety rules and use PPE (gloves, boots, mask, etc.). Support service team during major repairs or emergency situations. Coordinate with management for water testing and compliance. Work in shift duties (morning/evening/night) as required.
