Miracle Hub is hiring for our esteemed client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Surat, for the position of Manufacturing Operations Manager.

Our client is a growing organization in the manufacturing sector, seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead plant operations, drive process excellence, and support strategic execution directly under the Director's guidance.

Role Summary

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will serve as the operational backbone of the organization -- managing day-to-day production activities, inventory control, team productivity, and cross-functional coordination while implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands a hands-on leader who can translate strategic vision into executable plans and drive operational excellence across the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Support & Execution

Serve as the primary operational liaison for the Director Convert strategic priorities into actionable operational plans with disciplined follow-through Lead special projects, process improvements, and problem-solving initiatives Prepare timely and accurate management reports, KPI dashboards, and data-driven insights for decision-making Conduct training huddles for plant employees on operational best practices

Production & Plant Operations

Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to ensure seamless factory operations Identify and resolve production and packaging bottlenecks; implement corrective solutions Drive implementation of 5S methodology across the factory Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to enhance operational efficiency

Inventory & Stock Control

Monitor stock levels of raw materials (production, packaging, mechanical), work-in-progress, and finished goods Establish and enforce SOPs for material issuance and dispatch processes Conduct monthly finished goods stock audits with zero deviations Calculate consumption rates for all factory materials; identify and minimize wastage (including packaging, thread, consumables) Address stuck inventory and pending stock issues proactively

Productivity & People Management

Calculate and track production output per employee and per team Implement corrective actions to improve workforce productivity Resolve people-related issues across factory and office environments Foster a disciplined, accountable, and performance-driven culture

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate seamlessly with Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and HR teams Act as a bridge between departments to ensure smooth communication and accountability Drive follow-ups on cross-departmental projects and deliverables

Process Improvement & Compliance

Standardize and document operational processes; support automation initiatives Develop and monitor KPIs for plant staff and operational metrics Ensure compliance with safety norms, company policies, and statutory regulations Reduce operational costs through continuous process optimization

Must-Have Requirements

Education:

Graduate degree (Engineering or Non-Engineering background)

Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years in a similar Manufacturing Operations / Plant Operations role

Manufacturing Knowledge:

Strong understanding of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma (mandatory)

Skills:

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting and analysis Effective communication and interpersonal skills
