We are hiring Production Manager with VMC Machinery Knowledge of at least 7 to 10 years.

The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations in the CNC and VMC machining shop. The role demands strong technical expertise in CNC & VMC programming, tooling, and machining processes, along with proven ability to lead production teams, ensure quality compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and execute daily machining operations to meet production targets. Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC/VMC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas / applicable controls). Select tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to improve efficiency and quality. Supervise machinists and operators, ensuring adherence to operational and safety procedures. Monitor production performance; reduce machine downtime and improve cycle times. Coordinate with Design, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth workflow. Ensure adherence to technical specifications, drawing requirements, and GD&T standards. Oversee setup approvals, first article inspections, and process validation. Maintain 5S and lean manufacturing practices throughout the shop. Maintain inventory of tools, inserts, fixtures, and raw materials; reduce wastage. Prepare daily production reports and support cost reduction initiatives. Train and upskill team members on CNC programming, setup, and process controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.

10 to 15 years of CNC/VMC machining experience with minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong hands-on experience in CNC & VMC programming using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, Powermill). Deep knowledge of machining standards, cutting tools, jigs/fixtures, and GD&T. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 or industry-specific quality systems (aerospace/medical preferred).
