Plan, organize, direct, and manage daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, machinery use, processing, and packaging.?
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and quality protocols specific to surgical devices-(IV Cannula/ IV Set, etc.) manufacturing.?
Develop, implement, and monitor production processes that optimize output, minimize costs, and maximize quality.?
Manage inventory, materials replenishment, and resource allocation to support timely production and shipping of surgical devices-(IV Cannula/ IV Set, etc.).?
Maintain documentation and process records, ensuring all production activities are thoroughly tracked and reviewed.?
Oversee preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment, with a focus on reliability, quality assurance, and compliance.?
Address and resolve employee concerns, build strong work relationships, provide training, and conduct regular performance reviews.?
Coordinate cross-functional activities among departments such as quality control, logistics, purchasing, and R&D.?
Ensure effective new product introduction, process engineering, and troubleshooting for manufacturing.?
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, business administration, or a related field.?
Extensive experience in manufacturing management, preferably within the medical devices or surgical products sector.?
Knowledge of health and safety laws and standards related to medical device manufacturing.?
Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.?
Typical Skills and Experience:
Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment issues.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control systems.
Experience in resource management, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
Proficiency in computer systems and production management software.
Ability to set and monitor key performance indicators and achieve production targets.?
