Position:

Plant Manager - Sulphuric Acid Plant

Experience:

10-13 years

Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

Role Purpose

To manage daily operations of the Sulphuric Acid Plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production as per defined standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day plant operations across all process sections Ensure adherence to

SOPs, safety procedures, and environmental regulations

Monitor plant performance parameters such as

conversion efficiency, acid concentration, and emissions

Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance Ensure product quality as per customer and statutory requirements Support plant startups, shutdowns, and process optimization activities Analyze operational data and prepare MIS reports

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong operational knowledge of sulphuric acid plant processes Hands-on experience in plant safety systems and emergency handling Ability to troubleshoot process upsets and equipment issues Effective team coordination and communication skills Results-oriented and analytical mindset Implement cost reduction, energy conservation, and productivity improvement initiatives Supervise and mentor shift managers, engineers, and operators
Tamil speaking mandatory.
