JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:

Plant Manager - Steel Manufacturing (Store & Maintenance Focus)

Location:

Taloja Industrial Area, Navi Mumbai

Experience:

3-4 years

CTC:

Up to ₹4.8 LPA (Approx.
40,000/month in-hand)

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Permanent

Working Days:

6 days a week (Weekly off on Friday)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound

Plant Manager

to oversee the operations of our

steel manufacturing unit in Taloja, Navi Mumbai

. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in plant operations in steel engineering industry with a strong understanding of

store management

and

maintenance processes

. This role is critical for ensuring smooth production, equipment reliability, and efficient materials management.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily plant operations including production, inventory, and maintenance Manage store functions such as stock entries, inventory control, and material issuance Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance for all plant equipment Maintain accurate records of stock, equipment servicing, and daily plant logs Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance protocols Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and logistics teams for seamless plant functioning Prepare regular reports for senior management on plant performance Lead and manage a small team of storekeepers, technicians, and operators

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering Additional certifications in inventory management or plant maintenance are a plus

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of steel plant or heavy manufacturing operations Store and inventory management experience Familiarity with ERP and maintenance tracking software Leadership and team-handling abilities Good communication in Marathi, Hindi, and English Problem-solving and operational planning skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Residing in or willing to relocate to

Taloja / Navi Mumbai

Physically fit and comfortable working in a plant environment Ready to join on short notice

Salary & Benefits:

CTC:

Up to ₹4.8 LPA

In-hand salary:
