We enable transition to regenerative agriculture by manufacturing biochar and woodvinegar. Our sister organization manufactures biochar and woodvinegar based fertilizers.

We are a network of 550,000 farmers and manufacture biochar from agriculture biomass. Now, we are launching our industrial Pyrolyzer plant which produces biochar, woodvinegar and electricity from agriculture biomass.

Job Summary:

The Plant Manager will be responsible for the complete oversight and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility located in Village Virli, Umred Taluka, Nagpur District.

This is a hands-on role requiring a self-starter and go-getter who can manage all day-to-day operations independently, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

: Manage all daily plant operations, including production scheduling, inventory control, maintenance, and quality assurance.

Performance & Efficiency

: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.

Team Leadership

: Oversee and manage all plant personnel,

including hiring

, training, performance management, and fostering a positive and safe working environment.

Maintenance & Safety

: Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained and operated safely and efficiently. Strict adherence to all local and national safety and environmental regulations is mandatory.

Independent Management

: Act as the primary decision-maker for day-to-day operational issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage the facility with minimal supervision.

Local Compliance

: Ensure all plant activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

: A minimum of

10 years

of proven experience managing operations in a small to mid-industrial manufacturing plant.

Technical Acumen:

Strong understanding of industrial processes, equipment maintenance, and quality control systems.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in Marathi is a must for effective communication with local staff, suppliers, and authorities.

Commute:

Must have their own reliable means of commute to and from the Virli, Nagpur location.

Personal Attributes:

Must be a highly motivated "go-getter" with exceptional leadership, organizational, and independent management capabilities.

Education

: Should be graduate / Post graduate in Engineering from reputed university with. Diploma in Engineering candidates with suitable work experience may be considered under exceptional case.

Compensation

Salary will be as per industry standards and commensurate with experience and proven track record.
