The RMC Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and quality control of the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant catering to high-rise building projects. This role ensures uninterrupted production, supply, and dispatch of concrete as per project requirements while maintaining cost efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the RMC plant.
Ensure timely production and dispatch of concrete as per project schedules.
Monitor raw material inventory (cement, aggregates, admixtures, water) and coordinate procurement.
Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure concrete meets IS codes and project specifications.
Coordinate with project teams, site engineers, and contractors for concrete supply planning.
Supervise plant maintenance, breakdown handling, and ensure minimum downtime.
Optimize plant performance and operational costs.
Lead and manage plant staff, drivers, and batching personnel.
Maintain all statutory compliance, safety norms, and environmental regulations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, consumption, and cost.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
10 - 15 years of experience in RMC plant operations, preferably in
high-rise building construction
.
Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, and IS standards.
Experience in handling batching plant software & automation systems.
Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong coordination skills with site and procurement teams.
Knowledge of safety, statutory, and environmental guidelines for RMC plants.
