Position Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for overall plant performance, including production, maintenance, safety, quality, manpower management, and cost control for the Phosphoric Acid and MCP manufacturing units.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end operations of the Phosphoric Acid and MCP plant
Oversee the Vacuum Belt Filter, Evaporator, Reactor, and utility sections
Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of resources
Plan, monitor, and control preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
Monitor plant equipment performance and critical process parameters
Supervise the operation and maintenance of centrifugal, reciprocating, and vacuum pumps
Control raw material, chemical, and utility consumption
Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual production and consumption reports
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
Implement SOPs, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead, train, and motivate plant manpower for safe and efficient operations
Coordinate with management, maintenance, quality, and safety teams
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Tech/B.E in Chemical Engineering
Strong technical knowledge of Phosphoric Acid plant operations
Good leadership, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to manage teams and plant operations independently
Experience Requirement
10-15 years of relevant experience in a Phosphoric Acid manufacturing plant
Experience in MCP plant operations will be an added advantage
