- Plant Manager (Bitumen Products)

Location: Mundra, Gujarat (Local candidates preferred)

Industry: Bitumen & Bituminous Products

Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ?25,000 per month

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Plant Manager to oversee operations at our Mundra plant. The ideal candidate should be a local resident of Mundra, with sound knowledge of bitumen and bituminous products, plant operations, and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily plant operations, production schedules, and quality standards. Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of bitumen and related products. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. Coordinate with supply chain/logistics teams for timely raw material procurement and finished goods dispatch. Supervise maintenance of equipment and ensure minimal downtime. Manage plant workforce, assign duties, and ensure discipline on site. Maintain records of production, inventory, and operational reports. Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory norms, and client specifications.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, Chemical, or related field (preferred). 4-5 years of experience in plant operations (bitumen or construction materials preferred). Strong knowledge of bitumen products and their handling. Good leadership and team management abilities. Familiarity with quality control and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) practices. Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation. Local candidates from Mundra preferred.
