Role Overview

The Plant Manager will take end-to-end responsibility for plant operations, ensuring the processing plant meets throughput, recovery, safety, and cost targets as per project goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end plant operations, shift structure, and manpower management. Deliver plant

throughput and recovery

targets consistently. Manage maintenance planning and equipment reliability in coordination with maintenance teams. Implement and enforce safety, quality, and operational SOPs across the plant. Control operating costs, consumables, and utilities; drive efficiency improvements. Coordinate with mining, metallurgy, and logistics teams for stable feed and dispatch planning. Prepare operational dashboards, reports, and performance reviews for senior management. Drive operational discipline, accountability, and training across the plant team.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Degree in

Metallurgy / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering

(or relevant discipline). 12-20+ years experience in mineral processing plants. Minimum 5 years in a

plant leadership role

with team management responsibility. Exposure to commissioning, ramp-up, stabilisation, and continuous operations preferred. Proven people leadership, operations management, and KPI delivery track record.
