: Plant Manager

Qualifications & Skills:

Education

: B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (M. Tech / MBA

preferred).

Experience

: 10-20 years in steel fabrication / PEB manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, painting, and galvanizing processes. Proven leadership and people management skills. Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Operations Management

Plan, organize, and control manufacturing operations to meet delivery schedules and productivity

targets.

Optimize production planning and resource allocation (manpower, materials, and machinery).

Ensure adherence to PEB design specifications, manufacturing standards, and quality

requirements.

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production KPIs.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures in coordination with the Quality team.

Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant industry standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).

3. Maintenance & Equipment Management

Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant and machinery.

Ensure equipment uptime and performance reliability.

Coordinate with the Maintenance Head for spares planning and AMC management.

4. Safety & Environment

Enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and ensure a zero-incident culture.

Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.

5. Team Leadership & Development

Lead a multidisciplinary team including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

Drive training and skill enhancement programs for shop floor personnel.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

6. Cost & Process Optimization

Monitor plant budgets and control operational costs.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Manage raw material utilization and minimize rework/rejection rates.

7. Coordination & Reporting

Liaise with design, planning, procurement, and project execution teams for seamless operations.

Provide regular reports on plant performance to senior management.

Support audits, client visits, and certifications.

Pay: ?70,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
