The Plant Manager will be the senior-most operational leader at our new Rewari Dairy Plant. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the plant's operations--from milk procurement and processing to quality control, maintenance, and dispatch--to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and adherence to the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with deep domain expertise in the dairy industry.

The Role: Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations and Production Management: -
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dairy plant, including milk reception, processing (e.g., pasteurization, UHT), and manufacturing of value-added products (e.g., Ghee, Butter, Paneer, Curd, Flavoured Milk).
Quality, Safety, and Compliance: -
Ensure strict compliance with all national and local regulatory requirements, including FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) guidelines, and relevant certifications like ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and GHP.
Financial and Inventory Management
Prepare, manage, and monitor the plant's annual operating budget, focusing on cost control and achieving profitability targets.
Oversee inventory management of raw milk, packaging materials, chemicals, and finished goods to prevent shortages, control costs, and minimize stock loss.
Analyze production data and financial reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
Leadership and People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, supervisors, and operators across all departments.
Employee Profile
Education Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology/Food Technology, or a related Engineering field
.
Technical
Deep knowledge of milk processing, dairy product manufacturing, quality norms, and FSSAI regulations.
Soft Skills
Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and people management skills.
