Sealed Air India is looking for a motivated and experienced Plant Manager to join our Supply Chain Operations team. You will be based in Bangalore site and help us to drive manufacturing operations and production by using your proven track record of plant operations and management experience in packaging materials or food or pharma packaging industry, targeting to the world class manufacturing. Why we need you?
To use your proven experience working in plant operations and strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing operation.
Strong leadership and managerial attributes. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills is essential to ensure that all process line schedules are in accordance with facility capabilities, customer requirements, economic performance, and planning, expediting as needed
To use your experience with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently to direct and manage the establishment and maintenance of material replenishment methods, quality standards, and performance metrics in support of the organizational goals and objectives
Good business acumen with financial analytical skills using computer programs is critical to do budgeting and manage manufacturing cost structures by developing and maintaining operational expenses within budget allowance, and investigate cost-reduction measures
To use your strategic mindset and technical aptitude to create documentation protocols and ensure that all operations records are properly maintained and reviewed
Ability to work independently and interact with people at all levels within and outside the company and oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants, develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance and ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
Screen, interview and manage the onboarding process of new hires, provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary
Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order and repair or replace plant equipment as needed
Fluent in English & local language (Kannada), mature and goal orientated and able to work under pressure.
