Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

Providing strategic direction for the plant, developing and implementing operational plans, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Production Management:

Overseeing production schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and optimizing production processes to meet targets.

Quality Assurance:

Implementing and maintaining quality control standards, monitoring quality metrics, and addressing any deviations from established benchmarks.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

Maintenance and Operations:

Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment and machinery, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Cost Management:

Managing the plant budget, controlling operational costs, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.

Personnel Management:

Leading, motivating, and managing a team of supervisors and employees, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback.

Process Improvement:

Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Coordination and Communication:

Collaborating with other departments, such as supply chain, quality control, and human resources, to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing plant, often with a specific focus on the industry of the plant. Strong understanding of production management, operations, and quality control principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Experience in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is often preferred.
