We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and supporting smooth operations through preventive maintenance. This position plays a vital role in maintaining safety, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, utilities, and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs to reduce production delays.
Replace or fix faulty parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
Support the installation and setup of new equipment or systems.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report recurring problems.
Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements or upgrades.
Work closely with other departments to ensure maintenance supports production goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Track inventory of tools and spare parts and inform the supervisor of low stock.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification preferred.
At least 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a plant or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
Ability to understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Familiar with industrial safety practices and use of protective equipment.
Basic computer literacy for logging maintenance data.
Physically fit to handle lifting, bending, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
Preferred Skills:
Equipment fault diagnosis and problem-solving
Experience in industrial maintenance, especially in manufacturing
Understanding of control systems and basic PLC knowledge
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to equipment care
Working Conditions:
Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and industrial chemicals.
May require working in shifts, including weekends or on-call support.
PPE must be worn as per safety guidelines.
