The Plant HR professional will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations at the manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with labor laws, smooth employee relations, effective manpower management, and alignment of HR practices with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Administration
Handle day-to-day HR operations at the plant
Maintain employee records, HRMIS data, and statutory registers
Manage attendance, leave, shift rosters, and payroll coordination
2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Execute plant-level recruitment for blue-collar and staff positions
Coordinate with department heads for manpower requirements
Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation
3. Industrial Relations & Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws (Factories Act, CLRA, ESIC, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.)
Liaison with labor authorities, inspectors, and external agencies
Handle audits, inspections, and statutory filings
4. Employee Relations
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters
Support harmonious industrial relations and workforce engagement
Assist in handling unions or worker committees, if applicable
5. Performance & Development
Support performance appraisal processes
Coordinate training programs and skill development initiatives
Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement activities
6. Health, Safety & Welfare
Support EHS initiatives and statutory safety requirements
Oversee employee welfare activities and facilities

Experience in manufacturing/plant HR environment

Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
