Manage the HR function for the plant in Chennai, oversee HR operations, employee relations, staff welfare & canteen, addressing IR issues and grievances, employee health and safety
Ensure that all relevant labour laws & regulations are followed and complied as per the factory rules and regulations
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to build a strong workforce.
Ensure statutory compliance with all applicable HR laws and regulations, and develop policies and procedures to minimize legal risks.
Advice Plant HR Heads in handling grievances which have been escalated and ensure that they are resolved promptly.
Manage performance management systems (PMS) at plant level to set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and develop high-performing teams.
Managing internal facilities such as Canteen, security & housekeeping etc.
Plan and provide adequate health and safety measures in the factory premises.
Monitor adherence to all statutory compliances at all the Plants, for blue collared employee and
contract employees.
Accurately tracking employee leave and attendance for maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with labor laws.
Ensure all statutory compliances related to hiring of blue collared employees, disputes, social security, health, safety and working conditions
Requirements
10-15 years of work experience in managing factory HR & IR role preferably in Factory, and contract labour & admin.
Stay ahead of labor laws, wage regulations, safety standards, and employment policies to maintain full compliance.
Personnel files, attendance records, and other essential HR documentation up to date.
Ensure adherence to company safety policies and environmental regulations.
