Job Description

Plant Manager Requirement -

Role Objective

Lead, scale, and continuously improve a state-of-the-art Flexible Printed Circuit Board facility, ensuring world-class product quality, process reliability, and operational excellence while fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations & Production

Oversee end-to-end production: substrate prep, imaging, etching, lamination, drilling, plating, coverlay, surface finish, and final QA. Ensure OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield, and throughput targets are met or exceeded. Manage production scheduling, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance.
2. Quality & Compliance

Enforce ISO 9001 / TS 16949 / ISO 14001 standards. Implement statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies. Drive zero-defect culture, ensuring adherence to IPC standards (IPC-6013, IPC-2223, IPC-A-600). Oversee audits and maintain traceability and documentation for all processes.
3. Technology & Innovation

Work with R&D and engineering teams to introduce new FPCB technologies (e.g., ultra-thin circuits, rigid-flex, high-frequency substrates, polyimide advancements). Spearhead automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 adoption (MES, SCADA, real-time analytics). Evaluate and commission new machinery, tooling, and process enhancements.
4. People & Culture

Build and mentor a high-performance team across production, maintenance, QA, and logistics. Cultivate a safety-first, data-driven, continuous-improvement mindset. Conduct training for operators, supervisors, and engineers in FPCB processes and lean systems.
5. Cost, Inventory & Efficiency

Optimize raw material utilization (copper foil, polyimide, adhesives, chemicals). Control wastage, scrap, rework, and energy consumption. Work closely with SCM to ensure just-in-time (JIT) material availability. Develop and monitor KPIs for productivity, yield, downtime, and cost per unit.
6. Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Customer teams for NPI (New Product Introduction). Support the business expansion roadmap -- capacity doubling, new line commissioning, etc. Represent the plant in client audits, investor visits, and vendor partnerships.
