Job Description

• Monitor and review the Operational Parameters of all his Team to ensure the delivery of the Production plan in alignment with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Business Plan for R/M & SMS.
• To monitor and ensure delivery of Outputs (as per planned and budgeted Product Mix) of the ensure Plant & Equipment.
• To ensure the building of the competencies for the following in his relevant subordinates - Development of New Size and Grade - Pass Designing as per Customer requirements
• To scrutinize and approve recommendations for Process Changes (if any )
• To scrutinize, monitor and facilitate adherence to Preventive Maintenance Schedule
• To make recommendations about replacement / enhancement of existing Plant & Equipment
• To plan for and make recommendations for Plant Expansion in alignment with the overall Business Plan
• To scrutinize and approve Manning recommendations leading to enhancement of Manpower Productivity
• To drive and ensure compliance of the Quality Management System; to recommend changes in the QMS

Role & Responsibilities

• Scrutinizing and approving alternate sources for spare parts.
• Recommending and approving all capital equipments related to his area of work under his control.
• To maintain a Customer Interface with identified Customers on a pre-planned Visit Plan
• To scan the available Capacities in the Market and to take decisions on actual outsourcing
• Enhance the Technology Levels so as to reduce handling of Finished Goods to reduce FG inventory.
• Ensuring all Statutory Compliances
• Ensuring the health and safety guidelines are followed. Ensuring the Health, Safety and Security of equipment / men / materials.
• Driving and leading a culture of safety / Housekeeping / Quality / Productivity Setting the standards for these parameters \xe2\x80\x93 Initiating Systems to assess the quality of delivery
• Ensuring harmonious Employee Relations
• Development and coaching of Direct Reports, ensure the quality acquisition and retention of Talent in the Team.
• To approve the specification limit of Raw Material
