Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Head Production to lead our precast manufacturing plant in Coimbatore.
This role is for a strong leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, guiding teams, improving processes, and delivering high-quality products safely and on time. You will play a key role in shaping the plant s performance, culture, and growth.
If you have deep knowledge of precast operations and enjoy leading from the front, this role offers long-term stability, responsibility, and impact.
Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production to meet targets and delivery timelines.
• Prepare production schedules and optimize use of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all operations.
• Implement and monitor HSE practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Control production costs and improve efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with logistics, sales, and site teams for smooth dispatch and execution.
• Lead, train, and motivate plant teams and department heads.
• Manage plant maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
• Support new plant setup (Greenfield projects) and expansion activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and long-term production strategies.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in precast manufacturing or the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of plant operations, production planning, and scheduling.
• Experience with tools like MS Project or similar planning software.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a 2-shift operation.
• Proficiency in Tamil is mandatory for this role.
